Let's Learn to Read is a combination of worksheets, sight words and planner to help you and your reader establish a routine of building fluency with sight words. Plus there are writing sheets and a "how I feel" worksheet. So, you can gauge how your child is feeling through the process.
This is great documentation to share with teachers and doctors if you feel like there is a learning challenge. It's also way to gauge progress and praise your child for all the hard work.
I say all this with experience. My oldest daughter struggled to read and this process was such a blessing. it also created some great study habits for her and she was able to overcome the challenges and she is an excellent college student now.
IDEA: I recommend printing the color pages and laminating them. Then your child can use a dry erase marker on them. I also printed the black and white pages for daily use because I wanted to track the progress at least twice a week. i created a notebook with all these resources and it is an easy 15 minutes each day.
